Summer 2010
Neil and Rekha our twin grand children came from Atlanta to spend summer for six weeks. Sunder and Uma drove them from Atlanta over the memorial day weekend to drop the children.As always we had a nice time together and showed our new temple.
We enrolled the children in the swim meet held at the court house. It was a nice and leisurely summer and we had a wonderful time laughing and playing with the children. In the evening the kids played tennis in the front when all the neighbors children sometimes joined to play. Both of them had fun collecting the vegetables from the garden.
We played games in the house, watched Ramayana series directed by Ramananda Sagar. With subtitles in english, they understood and followed thoroughly. They read all the Amarchitra kathas in Cartoons which Uma and Ishu read as children. Last ten days Uma came and spent a good time with us. We went to the zoo, a movie, international Ballet concert, museum and celebrated fourth of July in the cul-de-sac with all our neighbors. It was a memorable summer we all spent together.
