In March 2010 we drove to smoky mountains in Tennessee and spent a week in a resort. The weather was pleasant and being off season there were not too many tourists. The resort is totally made of log cabins. Tennessee had a snow storm a week before and we could see the snow in the mountains when we drove thru. The place is small and vibrant. We enjoyed the country music presented by the resort for a couple of nights. One night we joined a fire side chat where lot of stories of the place were narrated. The bears were sleeping still for winter and we could not have even a glimpse of the bear. One interesting thing is the resort did not have any trash containers because the bears wil attack them. We had to leave our trash bags on the side walk and the staff constantly collected them. We went to see the ski slopes where lot of people were skiing .It was a nice trip and recommend every one to visit.
