February: Our nephew Dr Narayana Kocherlakota visited us for a weekend on way to a buisiness meeting at New Orleans. He is the President, Federal Reserve Bank, Minnesota and as such is a member of the prestigious panel that fixes the US interest rates.
Lat time we saw him in 1983 at his commencement at Princeton University. It was nice to reconnect our memories and family. We went round the city of jackson and spent the rest of the time at home. He came from MInnesota and was surprized to see the same ugly weather in Jackson though he missed the snow. We had a wonderful time.
