On June 17, 2023 we celebrated KR's 90th birthday. 120 people attended the celebration. Attendees included a college classmate from 1950s living in California, the dean and a professor from Alabama, Entergy friends and associates from N. Carolina, Starkville and Jackson. Our neighbors, family doctor, our niece from N. Carolina, the director of local ABC TV station, a local radio talkshow host and all our dear friends in Mississippi. Friends we met in 1989 on our move to Jackson who are now living elsewhere came to participate in the milestone event. Entire family joined to make the event go well with Sunder welcoming the guests and Ishu being master of ceremonies.
Uma, Laura, Rekha and Lola were busy decorating the venue and distributing drinks and flyers. while Neil was in charge of serving the drinks at the table. We thank every one who attended and the few people who could not reach in the last moment.
