BENCO-8 to Australia: April 1956
Post Script (dated Dec 12, 2009)
Just this afternoon (3:00 PM US CST) which is at about 8:00 AM (SA Std time) I finally established contact with Peter Saunders.
Peter hosted me and Anand at his house during most part of our stay at Tasmania (during the latter part of our stay in June-August, 1956).
He can be viewed in the pictures taken with Bhupee visiting us and with Sachit Anand Bhatnagar. In addition to being our host we had the luxury of being taken around by Peter to the coast and mountains. Peter can be viewed at the coast throwing a stick for an Alsatian to catch it mid air.
As I mentioned to Peter (Peter Saunders, 77 Braeside Avenue, Seacombe Heights, South Australia 50047; Tel # 011 + 618 8298 3954) moments back, I was merely catching up time lost in FIVE decades, since I last saw him!
Reminiscence's can be rewarding, if we can capture even few of the happy times bygone!
My thanks are of course to Denis Frith, (Cell: 011+041750 / 20438; email:denisafrith@yahoo.com ) with whom I had the pleasure in regrouping with him during my last visit to Melbourne in 2002. Denis, as Steering Committee Member, NUAUS sponsored our visit to Tasmania, Australia in 1956.

Thus, I have been happy to reconnect with these long lost friends of the 'down-under continent'!
