We visited San Jose for three days with intention to meet our family and friends.
From Sanfrancisco we took a side trip to Oakland and Berkeley to meet our friends from India Mr & Mrs B.V.Lu visiting their son's family.
In San jose my niece Priya and her husband Ravi took us to their house to spend a nice evening. It was nice seeing priya after 22 years. They showed pictures of their Bangalore house and recollected our memories of every one in the family.
Our friend Mr Hardayal Mehta took us to his house. Though Mrs Mehta is recovering from a knee surgery it did not dampen our meeting after a long time. We enjoyed the evening recollecting our association for the past so many years.
Mr Ananda Rao my brother in law came to take us to his house. We met his son Dr Abhinand whom we saw last time when he was 10 years old and his friends. Had a chat with Mrs Ananda Rao about her sister and family our friends in Kanpur in 1967.
Mr R.S. Viz my friend and classmate of Banaras Engineering college in 1956 came to Monterey all the way from San Jose to meet after 55 years and take us to his home. Mr & Mrs Viz returned from 10 day China trip at 4 pm the day before and drove all the way after a 14 hour nonstop flight and jet lag. We met his daughter's family.
No words can describe how much we enjoyed meeting every one.
